FANCY SOME WEEKEND INSPIRATION? HERE’S MY LIST OF THINGS TO DO, SEE, WEAR AND EAT…
Change your scenery
After being cooped up all week at work, the weekend is a great chance to break free from your usual surroundings and cure any lingering stress. If you live in town, take a road trip to your nearest hill and climb it. Or, if you live in the countryside, catch a train into the city for the day. Look for famous landmarks and enjoy the hustle and bustle of town life. I live in flat fenland, so relish a chance to escape and climb a hill or walk by the sea.
Eat a hot cross bun
Yes, I know it’s technically a week early, but I can’t resist any longer. If you haven’t tried them yet, the salted caramel and chocolate hot cross buns from M&S are amazing. The weekend breakfast of dreams!
Wear a laid back weekend dress
Big, voluminous dresses are having a moment. They look kind of fancy, but are actually perfect for relaxed weekend. You can eat as much brunch as you like and it’ll never show! This long-sleeved dotty one is by Zara and costs £39.99. I wear a medium and it’s generous!
Book tickets for the V&A’s Mary Quant exhibition
This new exhibition of Mary Quant’s iconic designs opens tomorrow (6 April 2019) at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. These exhibitions are always really popular and you need to book tickets to see it. Afterwards, enjoy tea and cake in the courtyard if it’s warm enough!
One more thing before you go…
You may have spotted that my blog is looking a little different. I’m having a few problems with my design at the moment (if you’re a fellow blogger you need to read this). I’m taking a break next week and when I get back I’ll be whipping things into shape again. Thanks for sticking with me.

Really pleased to see your blog this weekend after all that’s happened. You’re a survivor! XXXXXXXXXXX
