Last weekend, we had a lovely walk amongst the buttercups at Houghton meadows. The sea of yellow was stunning. I am wearing my new Next dungarees, which I’m still completely in love with. They’re made from the softest, fine denim and are unbelievably comfortable. I’m glad I finally bought into the dungaree trend – they’re really fun and super practical too! We had fun skipping through the meadows and climbing trees, followed by the best cream tea.

Looks like a beautiful day, and ending it with a cream tea is always perfect in my book! I do like those dungarees, and they look great with the stripy top, too. Lovely photos.

Thank you! I just love how comfy they are – in fact, I’m wondering why I’m not wearing them right now…need to get the iron out!

Ooo, what a fantastic time to come across your blog. I’ve just ordered a dark navy pair of dungarees from H&M and much deliberation re whether I’m too old to wear them (I’m 38). I’m not sure how to style them but the look you’ve put together is perfect. Sorry, I’ll be copying 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! I think the possibilities for stripy tops and dungarees are endless and I’m going to live in them this summer. I’ve been dithering for ages though and the H&M ones I liked kept going out of stock! So far I’ve had a few funny looks at the school gates, but lots of people have said they like them too, which is lovely xx

I love the dungarees! I haven’t dared to wear any since I was about 14 but I have to say, you look fabulous in them. Like Rachel, I might well copy x
