Hello! I hope you’re all having a good week. It’s half term here, so we’re busy with Lego, tractors and lots of colouring – but I wanted to share a few of my favourite things with you.
1: Berol Handwriting Pens
I’ve rediscovered these pens after about twenty years. They were a staple when I was at school. We used to use the thinner ones for handwriting, but I love this slightly thicker version. They’re perfect for those of us who are always scribbling away in notebooks – the ink glides across the page effortlessly and they feel bold and exciting after a faded biro. My local stationery shop sells them individually for about 70p, but you can buy a whole rainbow of them here.
2. My new printer
Our household has now officially joined the 1990s and has a printer. We’ve survived without one for years, and now I can’t imagine living without it. It’s opened up a whole new world of black and white excitement for us all. The children are thrilled with the colouring sheets I’m now able to provide for them on tap (Massey Ferguson tractors and Star Wars, respectively). Their love for them (this week at least) is insatiable, although we’ve now progressed to word searches too. All in all, I’m very glad of it for a cold February half-term. Meanwhile, I’m still getting a bit of thrill every time I print an invoice. Although I did have a dream the other night that we’d run out of ink.
3. Emma Bridgewater Nightwear
A picture of this beautiful range popped up in my inbox this week and I just had to share them with you – if only as an antidote to handwriting pens and laser printers. Those of you who know me will have noticed my love of Emma Bridgewater mugs. And now I could have a dressing gown and nightie to match too! Bliss! View the full range here.
So, what’s at the top of your list this week?

Wow! Berol pens!! School flashbacks just popped right into my head too, how marvellous! Well done for getting your new printer, it’s amazing how long we think we can get by without certain technologies and then we never know how we managed. Love the pyjamas too, you can never have enough in my opinion Xx
