Denim shirt by New Look
I bought this shirt at the weekend. It’s soft and cosy – perfect for wearing under itchy woolly jumpers and my jersey dresses. I love New Look for offering a little bit of affordable fashion on our small-town high street. I’ve been going there since I was a teenager, and I still like to pop in occasionally for things like this, plus jeans and tights.
Hot water bottles, in general
Our house is old and cold. It gets moderately warm when the heating’s on, but the howling draughts are still positively icy. So I’ve been clutching hot water bottles a lot this week – on the sofa, in bed, at the kitchen table… If you’re looking for a snazzy new one, how about this beauty from Boden?
