Blossom… it’s everywhere. Coupled with the blue skies we’ve been having, it feeling feels like spring has finally sprung. Every year, the fluffy clouds of pastel blossom take me by surprise. I find myself gazing at them in wonder as if they’ve never happened before. Amazing how a long grey winter can shorten your memory. This week we also had our first warm day in Cambridgeshire. It was fleeting, but what a wonderful glimpse of what’s to come.
Pastels… I think it’s probably the blossom, but I’ve got a sudden desire for a pale trench coat and anything else pastel coloured. I’m in a bit of a boring navy-blue rut at the moment. Does that happen to anyone else at the end of winter? I want to throw away all the dull colours and lighten up. This coat is from H&M and is only £39.99. I reckon that throwing it over the top of my navy jeans – plus a pretty shirt – would cheer my look up hugely until things warm up properly.

Pretty new stationery and accessories… I’m thrilled to have to some really lovely new Caroline Gardner goodies in my shop this week. They’re very me, and I hope you’ll love them too! I’ve been feeling a little uninspired since Easter, which is always the perfect excuse for new stationery, don’t you think?

Great post I feel the same at the moment, all springy! I have been in the navy blue rut for some weeks lol and am getting out of it now 😀 Love that trench H&M have some wonderful things right now. I’m also loving all the pretty blossom around too. Have a lovely weekend. Gemma x

You’ve had warm weather???? Well, do I feel cheated!! It’s been thoroughly miserable here and I’m longing for more blossom and pastels in my life. Show yourself, Spring!!!
The sunshine is so welcome after the gloom! It’s still chilly here, although it’s definitely getting warmer especially by the afternoon! There are even some sandals appearing…although not on me yet!
