Autumn has slipped by so quickly this year, and it’s been ages since my last post. So here’s update on what we’ve been up to lately…
My youngest, Tom, finally worked out how to ride his scooter. We bought it for him months ago, but he just couldn’t get it. Then suddenly, in one of those wonderful parenting moments, everything just came together and he was scooting like a little pro. This has made our three school runs a day (Tom comes home at lunchtime from nursery) so much more speedy and fun. And for the first time in years we’re not using a buggy – amazing!
We finally got round to having a car-boot sale…
We sold lots of junk and made a fair bit of money too! Gabriel had his own little stall of toys and made enough to buy a new Lego set.
Tom found a novel way to amuse himself in the back of Grandad’s van..
We all enjoyed the mild weather and spent time together in the garden…
The boys finally got to carve their pumpkin!
More to follow soon in Part Two…
