Autumn is here, and so too is transitional dressing. Otherwise known as LAYERS. One of my favourite looks for work, home and beyond is a midi dress plus a knit, tights, ankle boots and a long, lightweight coat.
I’m wearing:
Coat, £60, Monki. I bought this last year and it’s still my favourite. It’s a sort of khaki utility fabric that quite heavy, but unlined.
Boots, £59, Marks & Spencer – the comfiest ankle boot. I got these last year and I love them so much I just ordered a second pair. They go in and out of stock, so keep watching.
Midi dress, £18, Matalan. My go-to shop for flattering midi dresses in nice (but not too busy) prints. This one is sold out, but this one is very similar.
Jumper, a market stall find. A navy light weight jumper is such a useful friend to have right now. It’ll go with any colour dress and pull everything together. I like this one from Marks and Spencer. For something more slouchy, try this one.
A big soft scarf to add a pop of colour. Mine is old, but this one in yellow from H&M is very similar.
I’m also loving…
